Beech Class 24/25

Hello and welcome to Beech Class.  My name is Miss Walding and I am the class teacher for year 2.  I also lead the Science curriculum across the school.  Last year, I enjoyed running a range of afterschool clubs, including Young Voices, Science club and sewing club.  This year, I will begin with running a board games club. 

This is my fourth year of teaching and I am very passionate about providing high-quality teaching and learning to all children, so they can all reach their full potential and be the best that they can be.  I also aim to provide children with a caring, nurturing and supportive environment where they can feel safe and a valued member of the class and school, as well as preparing them for year 3. 

During my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and visiting friends.  I love reading, walking my two dogs (Pip and Isla), and watching plenty of Disney films. 

This year we have the wonderful Miss Kibble and Mrs Hawkins supporting us in class.  We are all looking forward to the year ahead.
