Beech Class 25/26

Hello and welcome to Beech Class.  My name is Miss Walding and I am the class teacher for year 2.  I also lead the Science and French curriculum across the school. This year I will be taking on the role of Eco lead.  I have enjoyed running a range of afterschool clubs, including Young Voices, Science club, sewing club and phonics bug club. 

This is my fifth year of teaching and I am very passionate about providing high-quality teaching and learning to all children, so they can all reach their full potential and be the best that they can be.  I also aim to provide children with a caring, nurturing and supportive environment where they can feel safe and a valued member of the class and school, as well as preparing them for year 3. 

During my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and visiting friends.  I love reading, walking my two dogs (Pip and Isla), and watching plenty of Disney films. 

This year we will be supported by 3 amazing staff; Miss Kibble, Miss Stock and Miss Boardman.  We are all looking forward to the fabulous year ahead.
