Beech Class 2026/27

Hello and welcome to Beech Class page! My name is Miss Morgan and I am delighted to be joining the team here at Bream C of E as the Year 2 class teacher this year. I will be in class every day except Thursday, when the class will be taught by Mr Cox.

I have worked in primary education for 14 years now, having worked across all year groups from Reception through to Year 6. Before becoming a qualified teacher, I worked as a TA, HLTA and a Speech and Language teacher. I am particularly passionate about reading, phonics, language and helping every child to develop confidence in themselves as a learner. 

I believe that children learn best when they feel safe, valued, listened to and encouraged. My aim is to create a calm, caring and purposeful classroom where children feel confident to ask questions, share their ideas, make mistakes and have another go! In Year 2, we will also be developing children’s independence and encouraging them to take pride in their learning and their classroom.

Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my son, family and friends; walking my dog, Bodie; and baking delicious treats! 

I am very excited about the year ahead and all the learning and experiences that we have planned. Please have a look at our curriculum map below for more details. I am looking forward to seeing the children become curious, confident and enthusiastic learners as the year progresses.

This year, I am very lucky to be supported in class by our wonderful Beech Class team: Miss Stock and Mrs Dowle.
